The Map is alive
I write music. It’s not my day job (I also write books and manage things). I never know how the music is going to turn out – it finds its way. Often, I use ‘found sounds’, or field recordings, made on the hoof, to inspire the atmosphere and process of the music. I have written some music for other people’s films and podcasts, but I mainly write for myself. Nevertheless, I hope this music may be meaningful in some ways to you too.
